The mission of our Women’s Ministry is to carry on the lifework of Jesus by loving God and loving others. We want to carry this torch and pass it on to the next generation, teaching women that God’s love never fails. Look over what we have to offer and feel free to join in any group at any time. We will depart Wednesday June 6 at noon and return Sunday June 10 at 5 pm. From Wednesday evening–Saturday noon we will help one of our missionary partners, CrossRoads, kick off summer by assisting, planning and participating in their first-of-summer community outreach event. We will work as teams to accomplish daily chores and prepare meals. Evening activities feature community dinners, game nights and local musical performances. On Sunday, after worship, we will hike part of the scenic Appalachian Trail and swim, tube, or boat at a local state park before returning to GCC at 5 pm. Cost includes all lodging and meals except for Sunday meals and free time excursions. Info: www.crossroadsmissions.com/appalachia. In this study, a true excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from scripture to lead you into intimacy with the one who knows you best. Learn to dig into the word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him in prayer. You will be able to track your quest by journaling along the way.
